The last week of our LA intensive was much more hands on than the previous weeks as we learnt all the land markings on the mannequin heads and even managed to inject some LA into chicken thighs. In comparison, injecting into chicken thighs and into another person is pretty different, as we were  allowed to administer LA into each other which was an eye-opening experience. Now I reckon I won’t be as nervous and stressed to inject LA.

I’m looking forward to working in the paediatric clinic next week. Even though I am feeling quite nervous, I still look forward with working with children and building a strong rapport with some of them.
