This week Prof. Julie Satur gave us a short introduction to how third year will be running as well as briefing us on the research projects we will be completing. This evoked feelings of both a little bit of nervousness but also a sense of relief that we will be involved in a lot more clinical practice. To think that not too long after the new year we will finally be back in DTC seeing patients is such an exciting prospect. We’ve delved so deep into the theory behind cases, that I’m really excited to be able to implement my learning into a clinical setting. I’m also excited to learn more about the research project as there were some really interesting options.

I’m really looking forward to getting into a routine that mimics the “real-world” next year to make the transition into full time employment as smooth as possible in 2023!
